HNY!

Hello...
It's Me...

If you didn't sing those words in Adele's voice, you need to get with the program! It's 2016 people!!! Adele is so in right now, lol.

I don't even know where to start... or even end... Hmmm...
Maybe i'll just meet ya in the middle...

HAPPY NEW YEAR BLOGGERS AND READERS!!!

My husband and I are still happily married! Yay!!! Lol. We are going on five years! Can you believe that!? Five flipping years!?

Anyway, we are still happy parents to our two little beautiful girls and loving every second of their presence. We have traveled to Arizona, Texas, California and Nevada in the past year and plan on visiting a few states again  this year- San Diego, CA in February, being the first! Traveling makes us happy!

There are so many goals this year to accomplish... My husband and I have made it a top priority to shape, tone, and strengthen our spiritual and physical health. We've been married for 4 years, going on 5, and have struggled, specifically, in both these areas. These goals are our top priority because, we have realised that our happiest moments in our marriage were when we both had a strong relationship with our Heavenly Father.  At the beginning of our relationship we weren't in perfect health but we were physically healthy enough to run up a flight of stairs without being tired.. now, we're fat! Lol. The point is, we know the only way to live a happy life and marriage is to stay healthy!

January is almost over and I am happy to say that we have been working on our spiritual health. I have witnessed so many blessings that have already occurred in my family. I'm overwhelmed with our merciful Heavenly Father for his eternal love. I'm so blessed! Now, to our physical health, we'll get to our physical health starting in February, the struggle is real. Haha! It's so hard to stay committed and motivated enough to get up and workout! I'm just lazy, I'M GOING TO CHANGE THAT, now "watch me... whip... watch me nae nae" haha!  My birthday is in March and my goal is to drop at least 15 lbs by next month. I'm ready to be healthy!

Well that's about it folks... short and simple...

Love y'all!

Mahenihe'ofa: One & Two

I can't believe my last post was almost two years ago! This makes me so sad. My babies are getting so big! Where did time go? In this blog I wanted to update my little Maheni bugs birthday(s).

Uncle Makisi blessing Mahenihe'ofa's ta'u taha! Tongan tradition, we love you uncle!

Continuing on after my daughter's 2nd birthday (My first & last blog lol) I would love to jump right into my little Maheni bugs first birthday! We were on a huge budget and couldn't do as much as we liked but we managed to make her first birthday so much fun for her and the kids! We held her birthday party at my uncle's awesome backyard! It was a little minnie mouse birthday party and we had a fun house club house (bounce house) with a water slide. We also had yummy BBQ food and some others. The piƱata was made from scratch, can I just tell how my sister's and I enjoyed making it? I love DIY projects. To end our day my uncle put on a firework show for the kids and his wife for their anniversary! Thank you uncle for always going beyond for the kids. You're the best!
Seriously cannot believe how much my Maheni has grown from her first birthday. Below are picture's from her party:

Mahenihe'ofa's 1st Birthday Party

My mom made the cake it was such a cute last minute display. We love you Grandma Vake.

My little minnie mouse in her Tongan attire. Isn't she lovely? We love you baby!

When we party, we party all night! One of the many perks my uncle's backyard has to offer!

Kid's getting ready for the firework show my uncle hosted for the birthday girl and his anniversary with his beautiful wife.

Maheni's 2nd Birthday

Maheni's second birthday was so simple! We held it at a splash pad in North Salt Lake, UT. I loved that it was so simple, easy, fun, and FREE! If it's free it's for me! Lol. Her second birthday was a My little pony theme, because my kids are obsessed with MLP! I didn't get much pictures but this collage should give you an idea of how awesome her birthday turned out.

We love Maheni's little attitude. She brings so much joy and happiness into our lives. We're forever grateful for the boundless opportunites our merciful Father in Heaven has bestowed over my little family.

Maheni, I hope you always remember that you are loved and to continue to be the beautiful girl you are. You will bless so many lives with your beautiful soul. Mommy and daddy love you so much honey and can't wait to spend many more priceless moments with you! XO!

Thank you for reading,

Celebrating the beauty of being the "terrible" TWO!

Nothing is more beautifully annoying than watching the same show over, and over, and over, and over again. What's even more annoying is I catch myself singing along with the show! "There's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy..." Sometimes, I even start dancing along to "hold still... wiggle, wiggle, wiggle..." Lol. If you haven't already guessed it, the show is, Yo Gabba Gabba.  If you haven't heard  of or seen it and you're interested you can watch it online or on demand on the Nick Jr. Channel or site.
So, getting to the point of my blog, we thought it would be fun to have a YGG (Yo Gabba Gabba ) birthday party. We didn't go all out and dramatic like some other birthday party's because we held the birthday at Jungle Jim's Playland. Jungle Jim's Playland is an indoor kids place that has kids rides, a playground and arcade games and  prizes. We used to go here a lot when we were kids. Super fun! Because we held the party at a kids place we kept decorations plain and simple.

I ordered her cake and little bundtinis from Nothing Bundt cakes and my oh my, they were DELICIOUS! My mouth is watering thinking of it. If you ever decide to order here def try their Velvet cake! It's the bomb!

Her YGG treat bags were a hit! I loved how big they were. It fit so much candy/treats in them and it still had room for a little bit more. Because Easter was around the corner I put a couple of eggs filled with candy in the bag too. You can order these bags and the cute YGG tablecloth online at Amazon.com.

My beautiful little sister who is currently serving her mission sent me an email on her pday of this picture. Her exact words in her email:
"It sucks I missed out on baby's birthday ): I can't believe she's FINALLY 2 and can't believe HOW BIG SHE IS! LOL she's sooo cutee! Puhhlease tell her I LOVE AND MISS HER SOOO MUCH, My babysit is all grown up. This is just me hecka fkmuna all by myself... cause my comp was sleeping ahahaha. Love yous!" Truly miss my sister so much!

Overall, this was a successful birthday party! Like i said plain and simple! Kids had so much fun! I am so excited to plan more parties for my kids. I'm more excited to get over this terrible two stage. This mommy is bout to go cuhraaaazay! Lol. Big shout out to my family and my husband's family for participating in a sweet celebration for my sweet special baby girl Mele Kafoatu! Next up is my Maheni baby's first birthday. I love being a mom!

We love you baby girl!
